In July 2004 there were 4 Credit Cooperatives in the Astrakhan Oblast:
Astrakhan Oblast Rural Credit Consumer Cooperative (AORCCC) “Narodny Credit” – the Cooperative of the 2^nd level;
Rural Credit Consumer Cooperative (RCCC) “Kharabali Fermer”, RCCC “Kamyzyak Fermer”, RCCC “Ikryaninsky Narodny Credit”. These are the Cooperatives of the 1^st level.

Today in the Astrakhan Oblast 11 Rural Credit Consumer Cooperative are registered:
AORCCC “Narodny Credit” (the Cooperative of the 2^nd level), RCCC “Kharabali Fermer”, RCCC “Kamyzyak Fermer”, RCCC “Ikryaninsky Narodny Credit”, RCCC “Privolzhsky Credit”, RCCC “Liman Fermer”, Volodarsky Regional RCCC “Narodny Credit”, RCCC “Akhtubinsk Agrosoyuz”, Yenotayevsky Regional RCCC “Narodny Credit”, Narimanov RCCC “Agrocredit”, Rural Savings-Credit Consumer Cooperative (RSCCC) “Chernoyarsky Podvorje”.

There are 11 Rayons in the Astrakhan Oblast, Credit Cooperatives are registered in 10 of them. In Krasnoyarsky Rayon there is an Initiative group on the Rural Credit Consumer Cooperative creation.
